For more than thirty years, MITAK high chrome white iron castings have been put to work in heavy duty rock crushers right across the globe.  A range of specialised alloys have been developed for these applications at sites ranging from small brickyards and mobile impactors to large quarries and mines.

MITAK supplies spares for the following crushers:

• Blowbars, hammers, impact plates and wear plates are supplied in large volumes for well-known horizontal shaft impactors including Hazemag, Stedman, Pegson, K&R, SBM, Hartl, Nordberg, BHS, Cedarapids and Bohringer.
• Shoes and anvils, wear plates and distributors all form part of a wide range of vertcial shaft impactor spares that MITAK produces for agents and OEMs around the world. 
• MITAK was a pioneer in South Africa in the manufacture of high chrome concave liners for primary gyratory crushers.  Today, most of the country's major machines use MITAK parts that offer a wear performance several times that of conventional manganese steel.
• Rolls for roller crushers with diameters from 200 to 1200mm have been made.  These are manufactured mainly for OEMS supplying the clay and food processing industries.
